Hyde Street Holdouts - Part 2

Freedom

Freedom is even older - dates back to early 1990s Chico for Billl and late 90s for Rolling Blackout.  Bill and I might have even played this in the Tolkeinian Treebeard days.  But this has a similar vibe to Tequila - same era - we used to lover breaking up heavy loud aggresive runs with these songs == Freedom is an absolute killer - as long as the tempo is up a little faster than you might think..  This is Bill's Tequila LOL.    We always space these song at a night time venue.  Often one or the other - and the lead runs – totally evolution - It's always theme du jour Improvised guitar leads and every time with little variations manifest and in year it'll be the same but different  -  I think this the song that was dubbed Demonic Minor… Each lead heavier than the last as Bill sings about coming back from a bumpy ride some vixen and returns to the comfort of the wolf pack.  His vocals on this are visionary and exceptional - blew us all away - he layered them - we couldn't even see until it was done and in mixing - holy smokes - but those final gentle accents are just fantastic.  It could be my favorite vocal on the album - pure magic. Be free run with the pack and always f'n shred in demonic minor…
